Sarabande is pleased to offer several teaching aids for teachers of Contemporary Literature, Composition, and Creative Writing, and we are excited to be a part of the learning process. There are many features on this site designed to augment the hard work you are already doing with your students. Our featured authors have been selected for both their appropriateness for university study and their willingness to participate in this program.

Our classroom materials include interactive reader’s guides for each of our featured authors. These reading guides contain questions posed by the author, essay topics, suggested further reading, and creative writing exercises. You will also find author biographies and interviews, and, in some cases, there are sample syllabi for your convenience. We have also added a special section, Teaching and Learning with Computers, for those of you who are new to the online world.

If you have adopted one of our featured titles, you have access to the entire educational Website as well as the Discussion Area. Here, there are two bulletin board forums, where questions will be posted and responses threaded by subject: one for teachers only, one for students and teachers both. There is also a chatroom designed for live, scheduled interviews with the authors.

We wish you a very successful experience with your classroom. If you have any questions, concerns, or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us.
