Go write to the source

Welcome to Go Write to the Source: Sarabande in Education, a project originally funded by the Lila Wallace-Reader's Digest Fund, with additional funding from the Brodie Price Philanthropic Fund.

The primary goal of Sarabande in Education is to expand the audience for Sarabande and other small press titles by demonstrating to students that writers write for a real audience and with real purpose. Author interaction is vital to this project, and we have launched this interactive, educational Website to provide just that.

If you are studying one of our Sarabande authors in your classroom, the following features are available to you: reader’s guides created by the authors themselves, enhanced linking to book reviews and author interviews, and real-time chats. Via this site, you will be able to ask the author questions about his or her approach, style, background, etc., and he or she will respond.

If you teach contemporary literature, composition, or creative writing and are considering one of our titles for selection in your classroom, have a look around—there is quite a bit of information on our site to help get you started. See the Frequently Asked Questions page for more details. For a course adoption welcome pack, including a desk copy of the title you’re interested in and a password to the discussion area, simply contact us.
