Our Internship Program

The Internship Program Overview:

Sarabande internships are offered three times a year, once each semester and once during the summer. Applications are accepted year–round and interviews are conducted approximately one month prior to the beginning of each work period.

Interns are expected to work between twelve–to–eighteen unpaid hours per week. In return, Sarabande offers rare and comprehensive exposure to the independent publishing business, in a friendly, congenial atmosphere. An intern leaves with job experience, literary education, and a good reference for his or her resume. Hours can be adjusted to fit student's schedule.

At Sarabande, interns are exposed to a wide variety of experiences, including routine administrative work, monitoring author/student internet chats, research into specific market areas, and answering press correspondence.
